WALTHAM, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Troop leaders pulled up to the Girl Scouts of Eastern Mass Waltham campus to load the final cases of Girl Scout Cookies into delivery trunks, but one flavor is notably missing— the new trial run of "Raspberry Rallies," an online-exclusive cookie that skyrocketed in popularity and has since been sold out.
WBZ's Kim Tunnicliffe spoke to GSEM Senior Director of Product, Program, and Retail Erin Sullivan, who said the latest cookie sold out faster than anyone was expecting.
"They're dark chocolate coated cookies, similar to our Thin Mint and they have a raspberry crumbling cookie on the inside," Sullivan said.

Raspberry Rallies sold out so quickly that sellers on eBay and other sites are reselling the limited edition flavors for up to $100 for four boxes. Sullivan says it's a sight that's disappointing to see, as the illegitimate sales take money away from the hardworking Girl Scouts.
"We would rather our cookies be sold by our authorized sellers, which is our girls," Sullivan said.
