BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — PayByPhone, the primary cash-free payment app used at MBTA parking garages and lots, experienced a system outage Wednesday morning.
The MBTA tweeted about the outage at around 7:20 a.m. and said that PayByPhone were working to restore service.
Another MBTA tweet at 8 a.m. reported that "most parking transactions are being completed but that they may take longer to process. [PayByPhone] are continuing to work on the issue."
