TAUNTON, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Drivers and Pedestrians in Taunton could be in for quite the scare if they drive past this house in the city.

This house is home to Eric and Michelle Kenny, as well as a large collection of skeletons, zombies, ghosts, and more. For the last 11 years, the Kennys turn their front lawn into a haunted spectacle.

Michelle Kenny said Halloween is her favorite holiday and the idea for their spooky front yard set up was inspired by a display in her childhood home.

"We just decorated one little hallway with one little skeleton, a mixtape of creepy sounds, and a blacklight and it was the biggest hit in the neighborhood," Michelle told WBZ's Kim Tunnicliffe. "I kind of just carried on the tradition."

The display also features large statues of characters from classic Halloween horror movies, such as Jason from "Friday The 13th" and Freddy Krueger from "A Nightmare On Elm Street". Eric Kenny built these statues for the display using PVC pipe and pool noodles.

The Kenny's encourage passersby to stop and check out the display, as well as pose for photos with any of their favorite characters.

On top of all of the spooky fanfare, they are also accepting donations of non-perishable food items for the Matthew Mission Food Pantry.
