FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Taylor Mania has the Boston area in a vice-grip. Dozens of diehard Taylor Swift fans lined up with blankets and chairs as early as 2:30 a.m. in a Gillette Stadium parking lot, hours ahead of the opening of a merchandise truck there.

Well over a hundred fans were in line at 7:30, more than two hours before the truck opened at 10 a.m.

The hot ticket item is a blue crewneck T-shirt. Hype behind the three concerts this weekend has ballooned in recent days. Some people at Gillette Thursday morning told WBZ's James Rojas that the line was actually tame compared to other stops on Swift's Eras tour.

The concerts are attracting so much attention that Foxborough and State Police are holding a press briefing on Thursday morning.
