BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — It was "Swiftie-mania" last May when Taylor Swift performed in Foxborough, but this weekend the superstar can be seen all across the Commonwealth.
The release date of Taylor Swift’s “Eras Tour” concert film was pushed up to Thursday night due to high demand. The Mass. Swifties are excited to see Swift perform for a much cheaper price.
“I wish I was going today, but I bought tickets for tomorrow,” said one fan. “I’m so excited to see it.”
Some fans believe the movie will produce the same energy as the concerts themselves, but others would rather just wait until the next time she performs live.
WBZ’s James Rojas asked Swifties whether the movie would be worth seeing.
“I do because I think it’s going to be a concert-like experience, where people are singing along, dancing, screaming,” said an excited fan. “I think it will be similar.”
“No, because it’s not the same as the real thing,” said a less optimistic fan. “I’ll wait until it comes on Netflix or something.”
