BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — As the Celtics playoffs get underway at TD Garden, the culinary team is going above and beyond to ensure that the dining experience is as fun and exciting as the main event.
WBZ NewsRadio spoke with Executive Chef Jason Gorman about how these gourmet culinary offerings enhance the patron experience.
“We like to take things people like, and then figure out new ways to make them interesting, or how do we elevate them [in a way] that compares to what’s happening in the bowl,” said Gorman.

For the fans who come to the Garden expecting the typical offerings of burgers, fried dough, or pizza, those are not going anywhere, but in the stadium’s premium restaurants, you can expect to be dazzled by the plethora of options available.
“[We have an] amazing crispy soft shell crab sandwich. It’s got a lemongrass aioli [and] a little bit of red curry in the crust and the green papaya salad. I think it’s outstanding,” said Gorman.
He also shared the details of a lobster roll with a unique twist.
“We’re calling it Lucky's 24-carat golden lobster roll. We took a three-foot baguette, and we stuffed it with brie, parmesan, and roasted garlic butter, and topped it off with fresh New England Lobster, and we finished it with real, 24-carat gold leaf garnishes.”
The culinary team has also planned to step up the cocktail game, with many one-of-a-kind drinks and specials to enjoy along with the action.
