BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — A 17-year-old has been arrested in connection with a violent attack at Mary O'Malley Park in Chelsea after an off-duty security guard was beaten with a baseball bat.
The teenager is set to be arraigned Tuesday morning in Chelsea District Court and will be charged with aggravated assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and armed assault with intent to murder.
The victim, an off-duty security guard, was hit in the head with a baseball bat around 11:30 a.m. Monday morning near the tennis courts at Mary O'Malley Park.
