BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — The start of December is bringing chilling temperatures to Massachusetts.
Temperatures in the Boston area dropped down to 25 degrees on Monday, with a high of 37.
The pattern of lows in the 20s and highs in the 30s is expected to continue throughout the Boston area through Wednesday.
Many travelers at Logan Airport are escaping the colder weather.
“I’m flying into Austin and I think [it’s] supposed to be in the 50s or 60s,” said one traveler at Logan.
Local traveler Armani is happy to be going to Puerto Rico, where it's going to be much hotter.
“When I checked the weather [in Puerto Rico] it’s gonna be 80s all week, so it’s gonna be very nice,” Armani said.
But some travelers at Logan are going to parts of the country that are just as cold, if not colder.
“Keep your jackets in your carry-on,” said another local traveler.
