BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — The defending NBA champions Boston Celtics head into to the first round of the playoffs at TD Garden Sunday.
The city is gearing up for a sea of green at North Station, and that’s John’s favorite sight to see.
“It really keeps the neighborhood alive,” he told WBZ NewsRadio.
Billy, another Celtics fan, said it was a great regular season. “I think they’ve been awesome.”
The Boston Celtics ended the regular season at No. 2, behind the Cleveland Cavaliers, with a 61 - 21 record. They take on the No.7 Orlando Magic in the first round of the playoffs.
Boston is going for back-to-back trophies after defeating the Dallas Mavericks last year, becoming the most decorated team in the league with 18 banners.
