BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — The Satanic Temple of Salem has filed a lawsuit to the City of Boston after alleged religious discrimination.
The Satanic Temple, also known as TST, filed the suit after city council allegedly rejected requests numerous times for the group to have weekly meetings in City Hall.
Members of TST seek to have the current council invocation policy declared unconstitutional because it discriminates against their practice and violates their rights of the First and Fourteenth amendment.
The Satanic Temple claims to have 2,449 Boston-area members.
