BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — If you're determined not to let the rainy days derail your weekends, there is plenty to do. From hiking on Spectacle Island to an Armenian food festival, the options are endless for those who dare to brave the risk of some heavy downpours and a few severe storms.

It's opening weekend, and to celebrate, they're offering free ferry service to Spectacle Island from Long Wharf North. Tickets are on a first-come, first-served basis for Saturday.
QUINCY'S 4TH ANNUAL MULTICULTURAL FESTIVAL:
Happening on Saturday from 12 to 3 at Pageant Field, you'll find lots of music, food, art, and games from all over the world.
Happening on Saturday from 12 to 6, rain or shine, all across the city.
Hosted by Somerville City Hall from 2 to 6 p.m. on Saturday. You can learn all about Haitian culture, including the flag, and you can sample some traditional Haitian cuisine.

Sustainable Swaps is hosting Sorry for Party Rockin', a 2012 rave at the Cambridge Elks Lodge. It starts at 9 p.m. on Saturday.
