BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — A popular winter sports exhibition returned to Boston Friday, helping folks gear up ahead of the skiing and snowboarding season.
Snowbound Expo at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center in the Seaport features hundreds of brands showcasing the trendiest apparels, latest innovative gears, and more. The exposition is expected to draw thousands of visitors throughout the weekend.
“We have trampoline displays; we have an indoor slope; we have the hugest range of retail from skis, snowboards, gears, equipment, hard and soft goods,” Expo Runner Steve Morgan told WBZ NewsRadio.
The expo is one of the largest community gatherings for winter sports enthusiasts. It will also feature giveaways on the retail floor for prizes like a five-night trip to the Rocksresort in LAXX, Switzerland. Professional athletes, including Todd Richards of Paxton, Mass., will take the stage for exclusive interview sessions.
For DonnaMarie, attending the expo has been a tradition to catch up with her friends from ski club and trails, “which is a lot of fun.”
Snowbound Expo runs through Sunday, Nov. 17, and it’s the perfect way to “kick off the season in style,” Morgan said.
