Three Billionaires with Mass. Ties Land On Forbes List

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Forbes has released their yearly list of the world’s billionaires, and three with ties to Massachusetts have placed out of the record-breaking 3,028 magnates.

Boston-born Fidelity Investments CEO Abigail Johnson landed at number 55 with a net worth of $32.7 billion. She was joined by her brother and president of Pembroke Real Estate Edward Johnson IV at 178 with a net worth of $13.1 billion.

The duo were the grandchildren of Fidelity Investments founder Edward Johnson II and were both born in Boston.

With a net worth of $11.8 billion, New England Patriots chairman and CEO Robert Kraft ranked at 208. Kraft is also the CEO and chairman of the Kraft Group, which holds assets in sports, real estate, and private equity.

Celebrities like Bruce Springsteen, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Jerry Seinfeld are some of the 288 new faces to join the list this year.
