PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) — Rhode Islanders hoping to catch President Trump's impeachment trial live and in person can request tickets from one of their Congress members.

Democratic U.S. Sen. Jack Reed is making tickets to the Senate trial that opens Tuesday in Washington, D.C. available to Rhode Islanders. His office says it will make all three public gallery seats it is allotted for each day of the trial available.

Rhode Islanders must request a ticket through Reed's office. If selected, they'll be notified and have to provide a valid identification to pick up the tickets, which expire daily and are non-transferable.
