BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Tom Brady's football future remains unclear, but according to DEADLINE, we now know more about his after-football plans.
Brady has formed a new production company called 199 Productions, a global multi-platform company that will develop original premium content including documentaries, feature films, and television shows.
The "199" refers to where Brady was picked in the 2000 NFL draft. Brady has always used his late-draft position as motivation to prove he was better than the players chosen before him.
“When I was the 199th draft pick, I knew I needed to work hard every day to prove myself," Brady told DEADLINE. "Launching a production company is no different."
In creating 199 Productions, Brady is teaming up with Joe and Anthony Russo, the Cleveland brothers who directed several Marvel movies including "Avengers: Endgame" and "Captain America: Civil War."
199 Productions' first project is a film called "Unseen Football," described as "a love letter to football" and directed by Gotham Chopra. Chopra worked on the Facebook Watch documentary "Tom vs. Time."
