Tom Brady Says He Is 'Never' Coaching Football

Super Bowl LIII - New England Patriots v Los Angeles Rams

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — As Tom Brady enters his 20th season with the Patriots, New England fans far and wide wonder what could be next for the 42-year-old quarterback. But those hoping to see him continue his football career as a coach on the New England sidelines could be in for a disappointment.

Speaking with reporters after a joint-practice with former teammate Mike Vrabel's Tennessee Titans, Brady reflected on Vrabel's coaching acumen. "He's extremely competitive. Really a hard-nosed tough player," Brady said about the 44-year-old coach. "And I think he's built a team that's very similar. Very hard-hitting, hard-working, just a good, tough, hard-nosed team."

When pressed on coaching himself, Brady's answer was short and to the point.

"Oh hell no, I'm never coaching," the six-time Super Bowl winner said to laughs. "Playing is enough for me."

Tom Brady and the New England Patriots kick off their season September 8th against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
