TOPSFIELD, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio)— What started out as just a way for Danielle Bradley to show off her support for her favorite Boston sports teams has now turned into a successful clothing business.

Bradley, a native of Lynn, got her start adding different decorations to her Boston sports hats and T-shirts to stand out at sporting events.

"I just wanted something different," she told WBZ's Kendall Buhl (@WBZKendall). "I didn't want to look like everybody else."

Soon after she started selling her custom sports apparel out of her fitness studio in Lynnfield, it began to catch the eyes of some of the wives of the players for Boston's many sports teams. Erin Bradley, wife of former Red Sox outfielder Jackie Bradley Jr., reached out to her about getting a custom apparel to wear to games.

"I sent her a hat and it was just wildfire from there," Danielle Bradley said.

She soon got requests from more Red Sox wives and now does designs for people all over the country. The brand she created, SPahklD, now boasts 9,141 followers on Instagram.

"I'm passionate about it, I enjoy doing it and it being a business on top of it makes it even that much better," Bradley said.

WBZ's Kendall Buhl (@WBZKendall) has the story.
