Tractor-Trailer Carrying 7,000 Gallons Of Fuel Loses Rear Axle In Medway

MEDWAY, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — On Saturday, Medway police were dispatched to an incident on the corner of Village and Broad streets at around 1 p.m.

Police said that a tractor-trailer carrying 7,000 gallons of home heating fuel lost its rear axle, immobilizing the vehicle.

At the time of the incident Medway Police shut down Village Street between Holliston and Sanford Street as a result of the vehicle's lost axle. Police told WBZ NewsRadio that the situation was cleared.
