Tractor-Trailer Rollover Caused Severe Delays On I-93 South In Wilmington

UPDATE: The Massachusetts Department of Transportation said all lanes have been reopened as of 10:18 a.m. Monday morning.

WILMINGTON, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — I-93 South shut down early Monday morning after a tractor-trailer rollover.

According to the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT), the crash occurred around 5:20 a.m. on I-93 South at Exit 35. Heavy delays of up to two hours were reported, with traffic backed up almost 10 miles.

All southbound lanes were shut down, but they reopened one lane just after 7:00 a.m.

At least one other vehicle was seen on a flatbed tow truck near the flipped tractor-trailer and large debris field.
