Transit Police Looking For Person Of Interest In Alleged Blue Line Assault

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Transit Police are searching for a person of interest in connection to an assault on a Blue Line train last week.

The incident happened on a Blue Line train traveling between the Maverick and Bowdoin stations on Friday, March 11 at around 3:55 p.m.

Transit Police described the situation as an indecent assault and battery and said the victim was a 17-year-old girl.

Transit Police are asking anyone with information about the identity and or whereabouts of this individual to contact them at 617-222-1050 or send an anonymous text to 873873.

This was the second assault incident on an MBTA train and the third assault on MBTA property in the last week.

The first incident saw a man arrested for allegedly attacking a man on a Red Line train, while the other saw two juveniles allegedly attack and rob a woman on the Red Line.
