Travelers Prepare For Post Holiday Delays At Boston Logan Airport

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — This holiday weekend, AAA predicts nearly 82 million Americans will travel more than 50 miles from their homes, and there were plenty doing just that on Friday morning at Logan Airport.

With the turkey, potatoes and stuffing packed away, the friends and relatives of Bay Staters are making their way back home or to school. While the trip into Boston was easy, a few travelers were concerned about delays. 

"I didn't have issues getting here. Now I'm a little worried about getting through security, not because I have anything on me, just in terms of timing," one person said.

Compared to the government shutdown, days of delays, this group heading down south for the Iron Bowl says a minor setback is no big deal. 

"We did just get a delay, but I have no problem with it," another person said.
