BRAINTREE, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — It was a scene from out of a movie in Braintree on Saturday evening. A truck plowed into a house on River Street, with only one slight issue — the tractor trailer had no driver.
In the driver's place were two dogs.
The crash happened at around 6:00 PM, and neighbor Glen Fillmore heard it happen, and ran to check on the driver.
"Opened up the cab, and two Charcoal Labs were looking at us," he said.
The driver was apparently out of the truck when it started to roll down a grassy hill and slammed into the house.
"Maybe something got released, and they went for a ride, that's the best thing you can come up with," said Fillmore said.
No one was home at the time and no injuries were reported. No word yet on what charges, if any, the truck driver faces.
