WOODSTOCK, N.H. (WBZ NewsRadio) — The truck driver that was killed in a crash in Orange Friday has been identified as 62-year-old Lois Ann Johnson, of Woodstock, N.H.
Massachusetts State Police say the truck was carrying "multiple cylinders of pressurized natural gas" at the time of the crash, and had a marker indicating it was transporting methane.
The truck began leaking methane gas after it rolled over on Route 2. All the gas was removed on Saturday.
An investigation shows it is likely the truck "failed to hold the curved roadway of the exit ramp, crashed through a guardrail, went over a grass embankment and rolled over, coming to rest along the woodline," according to state police.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash.
The ramp continued to be closed on Sunday as repairs are being made.
