Boeing Shows Media Its First 737 MAX Airliner

WASHINGTON, D.C. (24/7 NewsSource) —President Trump says the U.S. is grounding the Boeing 737 Max airliner fleet following the second major crash within five months. At the White House today, Trump said an emergency order is going into effect immediately and will last indefinitely.

He cited the recent international crashes involving the Boeing fleet, calling it a terrible thing. Trump also referred to Boeing as an incredible company. The U.S. order follows similar action by several other countries.

Trump called it a very tough decision and said it was the right thing to do. He noted that the safety of the American flying public is of paramount importance. The FAA is set to talk more about the announcement soon.
