BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) – The Transportation Security Administration at Logan Airport (TSA) found a unique parcel in one passenger’s bag.

During a routine security screening Wednesday, TSA officers found a cane that resembled a firearm in a woman’s suitcase.

Dan Velez, TSA spokesperson for New England, tweeted “if it looks like a firearm, it’s not getting the plane with you.”

The woman was eventually allowed to move through security after Massachusetts State Police came to check out the scene.

As of October 3, the TSA said officers have stopped 4,495 airline passengers from trying to carry firearms on board a plane.
