Tufts Medical Center, Children’s Hospital Restricting Visitations

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Starting Thursday, Tufts Medical Center and Children’s Hospital in Boston are suspending visitation for all adult inpatients. This comes as coronavirus cases continue to surge in Massachusetts and across the country

Just like early on in the pandemic, more hospitals are closing its doors to visitors. South Shore Hospital suspended visitations on Tuesday.

At Tufts, two parents or guardians for minors will be allowed in but have to stay in the patient’s room and keep their mask on.

Tufts said limited exceptions will be made on a case-by-case basis, including for the elderly and those giving birth.
