BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Transit Police arrested two juveniles Thursday after they allegedly robbed a woman at the Andrew MBTA stop.
Officers initially responded to the Andrew station after getting reports of a disturbance. When they arrived, they found a woman who told officers she had just been assaulted and robbed by a group of kids.
The victim, a 26-year-old woman, told officers that the thieves took her purse, credit cards, and other belongings and then fled onto an outbound Red Line train. She gave the officers a short description of the suspects.
With the victim's description, the officers went to the JFK/UMass Red Line stop and were able to identify and detain the suspects. The victim then positively identified the two juveniles and they were placed under arrest.
