'Unruly Passenger' Delays Commuter Rail From Providence

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — The MBTA is reporting 45 minute delays on the Providence Line of the Commuter Rail due to what they call an "unruly passenger."

The train was stopped at Canton Junction just before 6:00 a.m. Thursday morning and Transit Police arrived on the scene by 6:15.

By 6:30 a.m., the train was operating 45 minutes behind schedule. It's not clear what happened to the passenger.

Residual delays up to 20 minutes are affecting following trains on the line.
