BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — The USS Constitution Museum is hosting special events all weekend long in honor of Veteran’s Day.

Admission is free for veterans, military members and their families as a token of gratitude for their services.

On Sunday and Monday, the museum offers a behind-the-scenes tour of the USS Constitution for veterans and their family. This guided tour included in-between deck access and is approximately an hour long. Slots are limited and sign-ups are on their website.

Also on Sunday and Monday, a special arts and craft event teaches visitors how to make a flag pin out of beads.

During the holiday weekend, the museum is trying to collect 500 letters to thank the veteran community for their service as part of their letters of gratitude write-a-thon.

The USS Constitution Museum is located at the Charlestown Navy Yard.
