BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — The USS Constitution will be open for tours on President's Day.
The tours will be held on Monday, February 27 from 10 a.m. to 4 a.m. The ship will fire a 21-gun salute to commemorate the holiday.
The Constitution will also escort the Mayflower II into Boston Harbor on May 14 as part of the Mayflower Sails 2020 maritime festival, commemorating the 400th anniversary of the Mayflower landing.
The USS Constitution is the world's oldest commissioned naval vessel still afloat. It was launched in 1797 as one of six frigates authorized by Congress' Act to Provide a Naval Armament.
