Veterans-Only COVID Vaccine Clinic To Be Held On Cape Cod

BARNSTABLE, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Military veterans and their spouses can receive a COVID-19 vaccine on Cape Cod this weekend in a clinic run by the U.S Department of Veterans Affairs. The clinic will be held at Cape Cod Community College and will be giving out the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

The VA of Providence is hosting the clinic, and it will take place between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM.

Larry Connell, the Medical Center Director at the Providence VA, said it was critical that the clinic use the Johnson & Johnson, saying there are many veterans on Cape Cod that are not enrolled in the VA's healthcare system, that would benefit from not needing to come back for a second shot.
