BRETTON WOODS, N.H. (WBZ NewsRadio) — It looks like lovers of all things skiing and riding will soon be able to own a piece of a beloved New England ski resort next month.
50 vintage chairs will be auctioned off as part of the “Lift Up Our Community” auction to celebrate the ski mountain’s 50th anniversary. The auction started last November and bidding on the chairs will end on March 4.
Owning one of these chairs will cost you though! Bids on these chairs start at $500 and the money from the proceeds will go to 50 local and regional organizations including the Boys and Girls Club of the North Country, Conway Area Humane Society, the Mount Washington Observatory, NH among others.
According to their website, Bretton Woods is New Hampshire’s largest ski area with 63 trails, 35 glades, and ten lifts.
