BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — One man's recycled ripped Levis is another man's treasure at Vivant Vintage Clothing.
The Boston staple celebrated the grand opening of its Newbury Street location over the weekend, with at least one hundred attendees on hand to celebrate the big day.
Shoppers explored the eclectic collection of apparel and accessories while experiencing the shop's art deco nostalgia.
Justin Pomerleau, owner of the retro reseller, credits his supportive team for helping open the store in less than a month.
"You know it took a village here. There were just so many people involved. We did this entire project in 28 days," Pomerleau told WBZ NewsRadio.
The popular clothing outlet has made several headlines, including being named one of the Best Vintage Menswear Stores in America by GQ Magazine and the Best Vintage Shop by Boston Magazine in 2019 and 2023.
But even with all the pomp and circumstance, Pomerleau says what he is looking forward to most, is seeing his child again.
"We actually have our second son is still in the NICU at Brigham and Women's," Low said. "He'll be home this week actually. We're really excited to get him home."
