WALTHAM, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — A 74-year-old man was struck by a driver on Route 20 off Route 117 Monday morning.
The man was struck by a car travelling eastbound as he crossed Route 20, which is also Main Street in Waltham, near Rich Street shortly after 6:30 a.m.
WBZ NewsRadio traffic reporter Kristen Eck reported the victim was transported to the hospital with a head injury.
Waltham Police called his injuries "serious," but said he was conscious, alert, and in stable condition.
The driver, a 72-year-old man, was not injured.
