WALTHAM, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — A school bus crash in Waltham on Friday morning left 6 students and an adult driver in the hospital, Waltham Police said.
Police responded shortly before 8:30 a.m. to a rollover crash at the intersection of Beaver and Lexington streets. A Waltham Public Schools bus with students on board struck a van that was trying to make a left turn, according to police.
The van then rolled over onto a third vehicle that was stopped at a red light, police said.
Six students and the driver of the van were taken to the hospital for minor injuries, and the uninjured students got on another bus. Police said the accident is still under investigation.
