WATCH: BPD Officer Sings To 3-Year-Old Battling Cancer

WEYMOUTH, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — A Boston Police officer sang to a 3-year-old boy, from Weymouth, who is battling cancer on Sunday.

Quinn Waters listened to Officer Kim Tavares sing "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" while eating a snack "during a one-on-one private concert that he will not soon forget," police said.

Waters, who is referred to as "The Mighty Quinn," was diagnosed with a brain tumor in February, according to a Facebook page for him.

Officer Tavares wasn't Waters first visitor. Due to the illness, the 3-year-old cannot go outside, so several people have come to see him at his window. This has included Bruins player Charlie Coyle and the Dropkick Murphys.
