BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Boston Police said they're gearing up for July 4 festivities on the Esplanade, working hard to make sure key locations across the city are safe—and they're feeling a little patriotic as well.

In a video released by the Boston Police Department on Twitter, Officers Stephen McNulty and Kim Tavares, are seen singing a rendition of "The Star-Spangled Banner."

It was just one year ago that McNulty and Tavares went viral singing "God Bless America" in a Boston Police squad car!
