Wayland Photographer Creates Exhibit To Raise Money For COVID-19 Relief

WAYLAND, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) —A photographer in Wayland, Allan Dines, created a free outdoor exhibit, "Art in My Yard" to inspire people to donate during the pandemic.

His art includes photographs of musicians such as Bruce Springsteen, Sting, and Aerosmith taken in Massachusetts.

"I never had a reason to spend all the energy and time to actually mount the exhibit into the woods," Dines said. "But with all the time that I had, and the idea that people would be able to come out and see it, motivated me to put it up."

Although the pieces are for sale, there are no price tags. There are also hats and mugs for sale with proceeds going to the Greater Boston Food Bank.

Although it is free to view the art, there is a suggested donation to the Greater Boston Food Bank.

The exhibit ends Thursday afternoon.

"I may do it again, because it really is fun," Dines said.
