BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Today is National Bald is Beautiful Day in the United States and WBZ NewsRadio’s Carl Stevens celebrated by waxing poetically about his missing locks.
I never found it a reason for sorrow,
That hair today is gone tomorrow…
I thought the voice of beauty called,
On the day I became truly bald…
What a sight I am to see,
Who has as cute a head as me?
What a lovely place I’m in,
With my naked head of uncovered skin…
Like a newborn baby in a bassinette,
I’m about as handsome as a guy can get…
You think I’m crazy? I don’t care,
I celebrate my lack of hair…
I’ve got friends, I’m never alone,
And never in need of a brush, or a comb…
Or even a barber, or a jar of gel,
Or any kind of hair stuff they sell…
I’m devoid of tresses, strands or curls,
I love life in my low-maintenance world…
I’m as happy and an infant and just as careless,
I celebrate my life with a head that’s hairless.
