"We're a close contact business and we get up close and personal with these ladies," manager Deborah Baldwin said.

She also said over 500 brides at her store alone have postponed their weddings.

Rhode Island Gov. Dan McKee said Thursday that Rhode Island high schools are allowed to hold proms and graduation ceremonies as vaccination rollout ramps up.

“We’re making great progress,” McKee said at state leaders’ weekly coronavirus briefing.

Around 400,000 individuals have been at least partially vaccinated across the state, and around 275,000 are fully vaccinated.
