ACTON, Maine (WBZ NewsRadio) — Those crossing over into Maine from New Hampshire on Route 109 can't be feeling very welcome right about now. The York County Sheriff's Office says the "Welcome to Maine" sign in Acton was stolen on Monday.
Police included photos of the pickup truck they said was used in the heist. From the camera footage, the disappearance seems have happened in broad daylight.
Local police are asking anyone who may know the truck or the people who took the sign to reach out.
