Weymouth Gas Station Clerk Dies After Being Hit By Car

BOSTON, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — The gas station clerk struck by a car in Weymouth last week has died.

"We regret to confirm that Majid A. Hammade “Mike” ... succumbed to his injuries last night," the Weymouth Police Department posted on Facebook. "Our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this difficult time."

The 64-year-old was critically injured pumping gas at the Mobil on Main Street on July 15th.

Hammade was walking between pumps when he was struck by an SUV.

He passed away Monday night after spending a week on life support.
