BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — If you need to run some last minute errands this Independence Day, it's important to know which stores are open and which are closed on July 4.
All banks and United States Postal Service offices are closed for the holiday, as are Registry of Motor Vehicle offices, libraries, and other state and federal offices.

FedEx and UPS pick-up and delivery services are not available.
The following stores are operating at normal business hours:
- BJ's Wholesale Club
- CVS (pharmacy hours vary by location)
- Dollar General
- Home Depot
- Lowe's
- Publix
- Rite Aid
- Stop & Shop
- Target
- Walgreens (pharmacies closed at most locations)
- Walmart
- Wegmans
- Whole Foods
The following stores are operating at limited hours:
- ALDI
- Sam's Club (stores open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.)
- Trader Joe's (all stores close by 5 p.m.)
Liquor stores are open, but you should check your local store's hours.
Cannabis dispensaries are open at the individual store's discretion.
Costco is closed.
