QUINCY, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers crashed out of the playoffs Monday Night after losing to the Dallas Cowboys and now fans are speculating once again about Brady's future.

Brady retired and then un-retired last year to play another season with the Buccaneers, but now his contract with Tampa is up, which means he has to decide where, or if, he will play football next year. In his post-game press conference, Brady did not offer any hints about his plans for the future.

"I'm going to go home and get a good night's sleep," Brady said. "[There's] been a lot of focus on this game so it will be just one day at a time."

Several teams are reportedly interested in signing Brady, should he decide to return to the NFL for a 21st season. If he does decide to retire, some Patriots fans think he should do it where it all began—here in New England.

WBZ's Jim MacKay spoke with fans in Quincy, including one named Ryan, who said he still remembers how New England was left out of Brady's original retirement announcement.

"We didn't get our proper thanks in his statement that he made," he said.

He said he hopes Brady can rectify that by coming back to the Patriots to retire.

"Hopefully he signs a one-day [contract] with us and retires properly as a Patriot and then we get our farewell," he said.
