Wilmington Man Builds Christmas Town With 250,000 Lights

WILMINGTON, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — A spectacular display of Christmas lights in Wilmington was kicked up a notch this year—at a cost of $40,000.

Charlies Fiore told WBZ NewsRadio's Karyn Regal he loves Christmas, and he's competing on "The Great Christmas Light Fight" next year, so he had to "step it up."

So Fiore, a bricklayer by trade, built a movie set-style town on his Concord Road property, and strung it up with a quarter-million lights.
