Winchester High School Closes Until Monday Due To COVID-19 Positive Student

WINCHESTER, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — A student at Winchester High School tested positive for COVID-19, which has now led the school to close for the rest of the week.

The Health Department is now trying to find who else came into contact with that student, who apparently had gone to unapproved social gatherings. The school will be conducting remote learning to finish out the week.

Originally, students were studying under a hybrid model that divided them into two groups: A and B.

The B group was supposed to come in for this half of the week, however, doors are now closed until Monday.
