BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — A Winter Storm Warning will be in effect this weekend from Saturday night to Sunday night, according to the National Weather Service.
Central and Western Massachusetts are expected to get the bulk of the precipitation, with up to 12 inches of snow.
Other parts of the state, including the Boston area, will only be under a Winter Storm Watch. But, snow accumulation is still expected.
The Boston area could get 4 to 6 inches of snow. The South Shore could get 1 to 2 inches, and the South Coast could get 2 to 3 inches of snow.
