REVERE, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — A Revere woman was arrested on Friday and charged with trafficking multiple victims for sex through Crystal’s Day Spa in the city.

Geraldo De Matos Garland, 57, was arraigned in Chelsea District Court on Monday. Bail was set at $50,000 cash. If she makes bail she has to be monitored by GPS, surrender her passport, stay away and have no contact with the victims, and cannot leave the state.

Garland is accused of using the spa as a front for human trafficking, according to Attorney General Maura Healy.

Among the allegations, the AG’s Office accused Garland of “offering sexual activity between victims and buyers for a fee,” and posting online advertisements for commercial sex.

A probable cause hearing is scheduled for May 11 in Chelsea District Court.
