TAUNTON, Mass. (AP/WBZ NewsRadio) — A 21-year-old woman has been killed and three others have been injured in a car crash in Massachusetts.
State Police say the Lakeville resident had been a passenger in a car driving on Route 140 in Taunton when it was struck by an oncoming vehicle at around 9:15 p.m. Friday.
Officials say the car appears to have been taking a left turn to enter the ramp for Route 24.
The victim has been identified as Nicole Dondero.
The driver of the car, a 22-year-old Acushnet man, was taken to Morton Hospital in Taunton with serious injuries.
The driver of the other vehicle and a passenger in that vehicle, were also taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
State Police say the crash remains under investigation.
