BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — It's a big day for the Worcester Red Sox on Tuesday -- as the team will play their first game at full capacity in their new home.
The WooSox celebrated their home opener at the brand-new Polar Park on May 11 with around 2,400 fans in the stands because of Massachusetts Covid-19 capacity restrictions.
But those restrictions have since been lifted -- and the stadium can now open up seating to full capacity, with over 9,500 seats up for grabs.
The team will be facing off against the Rochester Red Wings on Tuesday -- and the first pitch is set for 6:35 p.m.
If you are interested in buying tickets for a WooSox game this season, you can do so on the team's website.
